You are kindly invited to participate in the 2nd Stakeholder Meeting of the Landscape Fire Management Western Balkans (LFM-WB) Project, which will take place on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, at the Municipality of Kamenica – Meeting Room, starting at 11:00 AM.
This meeting will bring together representatives from the Municipalities of Kamenica and Partes, members of the Working Group (WGS), representatives from the agriculture sector, firefighters, fishermen and hunters’ associations, NGOs, media, and high school representatives.
The second meeting will focus on strengthening disaster risk management capacities, including:
- Managing and monitoring risks related to fires, floods, and environmental pollution
- The use of data and digital tools for disaster risk management
- Drone technology and calibration demonstrations
- Rapid intervention demonstrations by local firefighters
- The role of high school training and youth engagement in fire prevention
The meeting will also provide space for discussion on upcoming project activities and coordination among stakeholders.
