You are kindly invited to participate in the upcoming Stakeholder Meeting of the Landscape Fire Management Western Balkans (LFM-WB) Project, which will take place on 30 March 2026, at the International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), South Campus (TBD), from 10:30 to 16:00.
This meeting will bring together representatives from the Municipalities of Kamenica and Partes, members of the Working Groups (WGS), as well as stakeholders from the agriculture sector, firefighting services, fishermen and hunters’ associations, civil society organizations, media, and high schools.
The meeting will focus on strengthening coordination and knowledge exchange on landscape fire management and disaster risk reduction, with particular attention to:
- Presentation and discussion of the Action Plan
- Institutional perspectives from municipal representatives
- Data and tools for Disaster Risk Management
- The use of drones in monitoring and prevention
- Contributions from firefighters and local practitioners
- Engagement of youth and high schools in fire prevention awareness
- Open discussion on upcoming project activities and collaboration
The event will also provide a platform for stakeholders to exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and align future actions for more effective fire management at the local level.
