You are kindly invited to participate in the upcoming Stakeholder Meeting of the Landscape Fire Management Western Balkans (LFM-WB) Project, which will take place on 07 April 2026, at the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), South Campus (TBD), from 10:30 to 16:00.
This meeting will bring together representatives from the Municipalities of Kamenica and Partes, as well as key stakeholders from the agriculture sector, firefighting services, fishermen and hunters’ associations, civil society organizations, the media, and high schools.
The meeting will focus on practical implementation and field-oriented tools for landscape fire management, with particular attention to:
- Practical use of drones in the field, including equipment handling and calibration
- Installation and use of mapping applications for field data collection
- Presentation of firefighting equipment and operational needs
- Continued engagement of high schools in awareness and training activities
- Final discussions on Action Plan implementation and next steps
The session aims to strengthen hands-on knowledge, improve coordination between stakeholders, and support the effective implementation of fire prevention and management measures at the local level.
